2-8 Chapter 2: Installation

IP Address

Allows you to set the BMC IP address.

Subnet Mask

Allows you to set the BMC subnet mask. We recommend that you use the same

Subnet Mask you have specied on the operating system network for the used

network card.

Gateway Address

Allows you to set the gateway address. We recommend that you use the same

gateway address you have specied on the operating system network for the used

network card.

BMC Watch Dog Timer Action [Disabled]

Allows the BMC to reset or power down the system when the operating

system crashes or hangs. Conguration options: [Disabled] [Reset System]

[Power Down] [Power Cycle]

It is necessary to install ASWM (ASUS System Web-based Management) for

using this function.
